Business Analysis with Excel

Taking a hands-on approach and making use of common business decision-making scenarios, participants will learn how to apply useful Excel functions and worksheet formulas to the process of data management (business intelligence), from data manipulation to data reporting / analysis.

The course is divided into 2 parts.

In the first part of the course, they will make use of 6 case scenarios, to share with you our knowledge and experience in business intelligence, from turning raw data into useful business information to analyzing the business data for reporting and decision making. They will also share with you how to create macro when you have ZERO knowledge about programming.

Case 1 - Translating Data
Case 2 - Selecting Records
Case 3 - Building Formulas
Case 4 - Analyzing Data
Case 5 - Retrieving Databases
Case 6 - Automating Processes

The second part of the course is customized based on the profile (skill level, experience, etc) and the expectation of the participants. Some of the topics they have covered in our previous courses include:
• Highlight cells based on certain criteria / conditions
• Restrict user inputs into the cells
• Dynamic ranges that resizes or moves based on certain conditions
• Forms that reduce data collection time, etc.
