Ya, I have many friends study and work in Australia. Income tax is very high. The maximum is about 40%.
i live in aus and the taxes are at least min 15% and the max is not 40%, it's 45%
also, cars are NOT cheap here. buying a car is cheap but maintaining it, parking, registration, tolls, fines are NOT cheap.
additionally, standard of living here is also higher.
