e2i is a one-stop, skills-based institute that equips workers with the mindset, skills and job opportunities to stay employable for life. They are an initiative of the National Trades Union Congress supported by the Singapore Labour Foundation (SLF), Singapore National Employers’ Federation (SNEF) and Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA).
Working closely with our tripartite partners, i.e., government agencies, unions, industry associations and employers, e2i:
* Develops partnerships with training providers
* Reaches out to jobseekers and workers who seek new or better jobs
* Promotes industry re-development and job-recreation
In addition, they work with our partners to increase the skills contents of jobs through job re-creation and redesign. Efforts in this area include introduction of new work techniques and technologies as well as fostering industry best practices.
